WHAT ARE SMALL GROUPS?

...to grow in knowledge and understanding of God’s word
A Small Group is a small gathering of people (6-12) for the intentional purpose of helping each other grow in Christ. The participants are involved in Bible study, prayer, fellowship and ministry. Each group usually meets once a week for about 1 hour.To get connected with a Small Group, just contact a person listed below.

THE BIBLE TEACH US:
- to break bread together,
- to meet in each others homes,
- to have fellowship with each other,
- and to pray for each other.
It is by our love for each other that others will know we are God's people.

We will also cover many other topics and in depth study of verses and how they apply to our daily lives.
In fact, the focus of the bible study is how these biblical truths impact us and how can we put them to practice for our daily lives.

We will show how to create a chain reference study as a powerful tool to use in your study and to use when witnessing to others.
This has been a real blessing to us.

FAQ

How do I get involved?

If you have a friend already attending a Small Group, ask them if you can visit their group with them. The answer is always, "YES!" Then tell them you'd like to come as a guest for a while...just to check it out.

Why are Small Groups important?

God did not intend for us to walk through life alone. It is through small groups where people connect, develop relationships, grow spiritually and are involved in ministry. It is where healing takes place and love is expressed.

Will I have to read or pray when I attend a group?

While full participation will benefit anyone coming to a Small Group, you only need to participate at the level which you feel comfortable.

What if I don't know my Bible well?

Anyone will be able to answer the questions which are asked during the meeting. The discussion in Small Groups focuses on life application. The studies are guest- and new-Christian friendly. So, just relax and enjoy!

What does NOT take place in a Small Group?

You will not be:
- Asked to share your deepest sin
- Embarrassed due to your lack of Bible knowledge
- Asked to provide a meal each week, and bring the main dish
- Drawn into debate over which denomination or political issue is correct
- Talked about when/why you aren't able to attend.
